PriceSlip is made and run by MatchReach Technologies LLC, a Washington limited liability company ("MatchReach", "we", "us"). These terms are an agreement between you and MatchReach for the PriceSlip website and apps (the "service").
You must be at least 18 years old and live in the United States. By creating an account you confirm both. You may hold one account, and it is for your own use.
PriceSlip checks the prices of products you add, tells you when a price drops below what you paid, and shows what we know about the store's price-adjustment policy.
PriceSlip does not ask any store for a refund or price adjustment for you, does not move money, and cannot promise that a store will give you anything. Each retailer decides its own rules, time limits and exclusions, and changes them without telling us. Some retailers do not offer post-purchase adjustments at all.
Prices come from our most recent check and can be wrong or out of date. Confirm the price on the store's own website before you rely on it. Product suggestions made with AI, such as a product link or a product identified from a photo, can be wrong too; check them before you save them.
PriceSlip is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any retailer. Store names are used only to say where something was bought.
Give accurate information and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us at hello@matchreachapp.com if you think someone else has used it.
You keep ownership of the purchases, receipts, notes and messages you add. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. Only add receipts and information that you have the right to share.
Do not use PriceSlip to break the law or anyone else's rights; to upload malware or content that is not yours to share; to probe, overload or get around the service's security or limits; to copy, scrape or resell the service or its data; or to create accounts automatically or for someone else.
Price alerts are sent by email and, if you allow them, by push notification. You can turn either off in Profile & Settings. Alerts depend on stores, networks and phone settings we do not control, so one can arrive late or not at all. Do not rely on PriceSlip as your only reminder of a deadline.
Price-drop alerts may be grouped into a single daily summary email rather than sent one at a time. Where we do that, the summary pauses once the price differences we have found for you add up to $1,000 — whether or not you asked any store for them — and starts again, for good, once two people you have invited have confirmed their email address. We tell you inside the summary before that happens, from $500, and we tell you once when it pauses. Your invite link and your position are on the Invite a friend page.
This never applies to email about your account or your security. Confirming your address, resetting your password, and anything we must tell you about your account are always sent, whatever the paragraph above says.
PriceSlip is free. If we ever offer paid features, we will tell you the price before you are charged, and nothing you already use for free will start costing money without your agreement.
Links take you to retailers and other sites that have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for them or for what you buy there.
You can delete your account at any time from Profile & Settings, or, if you cannot sign in, ask for it at matchreachapp.com/priceslip/delete-account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk, and we will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it. We may also change or stop the service; if we stop it, we will give reasonable notice.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be accurate, uninterrupted or error-free, or that any retailer will adjust a price, and we disclaim implied warranties such as fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent the law allows, MatchReach is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including a price adjustment you did not receive, and our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to US$50. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top, and for important changes we will tell you by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use PriceSlip after that means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Before starting a legal claim, please contact us so we can try to fix the problem. Any claim that is not resolved goes to the state or federal courts located in Washington, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
