Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of MatchReach, a service that matches riders and drivers for shared carpool trips. By creating an account you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. What MatchReach is

MatchReach connects riders with drivers already headed the same way. We are not a transportation carrier, taxi service, or licensed common carrier; drivers are independent users of the platform, not MatchReach employees or agents.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and be legally permitted to drive (if offering rides) in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for activity on your account.

3. Safety reporting is not an emergency service

The in-app safety report (including the SOS option) records a report for our team to review; it does not summon police, medical, or fire services and is not monitored continuously in real time. In an emergency, always call 911 or your local emergency number first.

4. Payments

Fares are pre-authorized at booking and captured on trip completion, as described at checkout. Refunds and disputes are handled per our then-current support process.

5. Conduct

You agree not to use the platform for unlawful purposes, to harass or endanger other users, or to falsify a safety report. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, MatchReach disclaims warranties of any kind and is not liable for the conduct of drivers or riders, or for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
